Implementation Weekend FAQs

What is an Implementation Weekend?

An Implementation Weekend is a three-day educational experience connecting procedural skill development, clinical application, and practice implementation. Each day offers a distinct area of focus while contributing to the broader weekend experience.

Physicians may attend one day, combine two days, or participate in the full three-day weekend based on their individual educational and practice goals.

Who should attend an Implementation Weekend?

Implementation Weekends are designed for physicians at different stages of regenerative medicine practice, from those preparing to integrate regenerative medicine into their clinical setting to experienced clinicians seeking to advance their procedural skills, clinical decision-making, and practice implementation.

Do I need to attend all three days of the Implementation Weekend?

No. While the full Implementation Weekend is designed as a connected learning experience, each day may be attended individually. Clinicians can register for the full weekend or select the individual intensive that best aligns with their educational and practice goals.

What happens on Friday?

Friday features Advanced MSK Ultrasound, a focused training experience centered on musculoskeletal ultrasound skills, scanning techniques, anatomy and pathology correlation, and image acquisition.

What happens on Saturday?

Saturday is the Clinical Intensive, providing focused, hands-on clinical education through cadaver-based training, image-guided procedural instruction, and applied clinical learning designed to advance procedural skills and clinical confidence.

What happens on Sunday?
Sunday features the Business of Orthobiologics, led by Ariana DeMers, DO, or Kristin Oliver, MD with a focus on the operational and strategic considerations of integrating regenerative medicine services into clinical practice. The intensive addresses practice workflows, team roles, financial considerations, and practice-ready tools to support effective implementation.
Can I attend only the Business of Orthobiologics on Sunday?

Yes. Each day of the Implementation Weekend may be attended individually, allowing physicians to select the intensive that best aligns with their educational and practice goals.  Clinicians may attend Friday, Saturday, or Sunday as a standalone experience, combine any two days, or participate in the full three-day Implementation Weekend for the most comprehensive experience.

Attendance on prior days is not required to participate in an individual intensive.

What happens after I register?

After registration, a member of the XCELL Learning Center Medical Education team will connect with you to learn more about your clinical background, educational goals, and areas of interest. This conversation helps ensure your selected program aligns with your experience and objectives and allows the team to provide guidance as you prepare for the Implementation Weekend.

Where are Implementation Weekends held?

All Implementation Weekends take place at the XCELL Learning Center in Clearwater, Florida. Nearby hotels are recommended here.

Are Implementation Weekends complimentary?

Yes. Implementation Weekends are complimentary for qualified current APEX Biologix customers. Upon submitting registration, the XCELL Learning Center Medical Education team will review your registration and contact you for a brief onboarding call to confirm eligibility, discuss your clinical background and educational goals, and help ensure the selected intensive, or full Implementation Weekend, aligns with your needs.

Do I need prior regenerative medicine or ultrasound experience?

Not necessarily. Implementation Weekends are designed to support physicians across a range of experience levels, from those exploring the integration of regenerative medicine into their practice to clinicians looking to advance existing clinical and procedural capabilities.

After registration, the XCELL Learning Center Medical Education team will connect with you to better understand your background and goals and help determine which day, or combination of days, best aligns with your educational needs.

How do I register?
